Providing an optimal demand response program through placement of automatic switches and energy storage systems to improve the reliability of power distribution networks

Creating highly reliable distribution networks is becoming increasingly vital in today's society. In a similar vein, utilities have issues properly planning and developing networks, both to reduce their imposed costs meet the demands of consumers. presence Demand Response Program (DRP), this research provides coordinated architecture that considers automated switches Energy Storage Units (ESUs) placement with uncertainty repair time enhance reliability power network. The suggested objective for optimal automatic switches, ESUs DRPs minimize combination index (SAIDI) Total Cost system (TC). Customer interruption cost, energy not supplied switch investment, ESU participation DRP cost are all considered as parts total cost. proposed method used four different cases on common test system, followed by numerous sensitivity studies, order illustrate applicability efficiency method.
